02/10/2007 8:31 PM - HERSHEY, PA -- Dave Steckel scored two goals and Frederic Cassivi made 27 saves, as the Hershey Bears blanked the Albany River Rats 4-0 Saturday night at Giant Center.
Deryk Engelland and Chad Wiseman also scored for the Bears, who won their 19th consecutive game against the River Rats dating to April 7, 2004.
Tyler Weiman finished with 34 saves in the loss for the River Rats, who earned three of a possible six points (1-1-0-1) on a three-game, two-team road trip.
Albany's Keith Aucoin was held scoreless and was stopped by Cassivi on a penalty shot midway through the second period with the Bears leading 3-0, snapping a seven-game point streak.
The River Rats return to action Friday, February 16 against the league-leading Norfolk Admirals at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center.
